Sita + Kartik - A Wedding at the Palmdale Estates

Talk about an impressive family and friends photograph.  That pretty much set the tone for the whole day.  I couldn't turn my camera in any direction without landing on a smiling face, particularly those of the beaming bride and groom, Sita and Kartik. This wedding was rich with tradition. It took place on gorgeous day at the Palmdale Estates.  And there was plenty of love to go around.

Carol + Dave - A Wedding Film at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA

Carol and Dave had an extraordinary wedding day:  a gorgeous location (the Mountain Winery in Saratoga), a beaming groom; a beautiful bride; all fun, joy, and love.  It was an honor to play a role in telling their story.

The best Pesto at Farina in San Francisco

Recently, I produced a series of short films for the new website of the restaurant FARINA in San Francisco, here is the Pesto episode and it is no doubt the best pesto I ever had. It was great to work with Kim Grijalva on this project she is the creative director and designer of the website and I am happy that my work found it's way into such a beautifully designed site.

A small film about the Dia de los Muertos ( Day of the Dead ) festival in fruitvale a neighborhood in oakland ,CA. Filmed with the canon D7 & 5D mark II.

Brittany & Cameron - Wedding at the Pasadera Country Club in Monterey, CA

Brittany & Cameron had an awesome wedding on the beautiful grounds of the Pasadera Country Club in Monterey. It was the first wedding for which I used the letus 35mm adapter and I am really happy with the look of the footage that I shot with it. It was a pleasure to work side by side with photographer Tom O'Neal, who, besides being great at weddings, has photographed most of the rock stars of the '70s you have on your iPod.

Sarah & Jason - Wedding at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco, CA

Sarah & Jason's wedding film happened at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco and boy, it really happened: they had a blast. It was great to be there and work with my friends meher & marcel siegle who documented this fabulous affair with their amazing photography.

Mananya & Owen - wedding at the Claremont Resort in Berkeley, CA

Mananya & Owen got married at the place were they met and fell in love, the Claremont Resort in Berkeley.
It was a great wedding with a lot of their friends and family from all over the globe.
The photographer was the fabulous Christine Farah who flew in from LA. Here are a few highlights from the wedding.

Picknick

A little film I did about a dilapidated recreational picnic spot in Alameda, CA. I used a letus 35mm adapter and it made and will make all the difference from now on, it really gives me the advantage of film with a video camera, awesome. The music I chose is from Michael Jacaszek's new CD 'Treny' I love his music, while searching for his work, I found this great site to download interesting and hard to find music fina-music.com powered by the people behind thrilljockey.
